This morning I have a to-do list a mile long and back pain that is off the charts, pretty much relegating me to bed. My plans for today have gone awry and I want to complain!
According to 2 Corinthians 10:5-13 God was not pleased with the constant grumbling and complaining of the Israelites. They grumbled about God because they were thirsty; because they wanted meat; because they were afraid; because things weren’t going their way.
The bottom line is, they doubted God’s way and God’s will was perfect when life was not perfect.
What are you frustrated about today? Are things not going your way?
Whatever is happening to you this very day is in God’s perfect plan and He will provide for you at just the right time. God can be trusted.
“No temptation (that word also means trial) has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted (tried) beyond what you able, but with the temptation (trial) will provide the way of escape also, that you may be able to endure it.” 1 Corinthians 10:13
Praise Him today for His faithfulness in all things! Wait for Him patiently and expectantly! He does have a plan, trust Him!
Doubters complain in the pain; Believer’s praise Him in spite of the pain!
